ILR President Harold Kim was recently a guest on Insurance Uncovered, a podcast from the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies. Harold and NAMIC President and CEO Neil Alldredge discussed the impact of third party litigation funding (TPLF) on the legal system and how foreign governments could use TPLF to invest in U.S. litigation against American businesses.   

Harold and Neil also discussed ILR’s recent groundbreaking report, A New Threat: The National Security Risk of Third Party Litigation Funding, which analyzes how TPLF could broadly affect U.S. national and economic security. The report outlines a series of comprehensive legislative and legal reforms.
