ILR hosted its Summit 2022 Law, Policy, & Politics on Wednesday, November 2. The event brought together business leaders, legal experts, and public officials to discuss current litigation trends impacting the legal reform community.
At Summit 2022, ILR presented three Legal Reform Awards recognizing the important contributions of those who work to promote a more balanced legal landscape around the world.
Outstanding Organization Award
The Civil Justice Association of California received the Outstanding Organization Award in recognition of its leadership on state reform initiatives in a state with a highly problematic legal environment.

Legal Reform Champion Award
Jim Harris, President of Harris, Deville & Associates, received the Legal Reform Champion Award in appreciation of his key role in improving the business litigation climate in Louisiana and across the country as one of ILR’s most long-standing partners.

International Affairs Award
Christiaan Weiland, director of public affairs at Weiland Public Affairs, received the International Affairs Award for his strategic advisory in politics, business, and public affairs in support of ILR’s international initiatives.
