The so-called FAIR Act is a gift to the trial bar from the U.S. House of Representatives. It will effectively ban arbitration and increase class action litigation, where trial lawyers will take a huge chunk of money before consumers or employees see even one cent. Consumers, employees, and businesses should have the ability to resolve disputes without incurring the massive legal bills and long delays that come with lawsuits. The Senate should do the right thing and block this bill.
