WV Gov. Justice Signs Bill To Give Businesses Protection From COVID-19-Related Lawsuits
The Mountain State is the newest state to provide businesses with liability protections from COVID-19-related lawsuits, according to a report on WOWK.
Last week, West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice signed a bill protecting employers, health care providers, schools, and others from being sued for conduct linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill offers protection from COVID-19 lawsuits while still ensuring that those injured by truly bad actors can seek justice through the state’s courts.
