WSJ: “Rogue” CFPB Must Be Reined In

The Wall Street Journal writes that the CFPB, who “has abused the law and whose structure was recently found unconstitutional,” should be reined in “if it can’t be killed.”

The political problem is that eliminating the bureau would likely require 60 Senate votes.

Short of outright elimination, the Journal recommends that the CFPB “should at least be made constitutional and accountable to normal political oversight.”
