Trump’s Supreme Court Picks Likely to Reshape Courts in Pro-Business Manner

President-elect Donald Trump is likely to reshape the U.S. courts as his list of potential Supreme Court nominees is stocked with reliably pro-business judges.

“Challenges to regulation by administration fiat, class-action lawsuits and restrictions on property use will find a more hospitable court, possibly for decades to come,” writes Forbes.

“Trump’s victory is likely to help business defendants before the court, strengthening longstanding support of the Federal Arbitration Act. It will also likely produce further limits on class actions, a legal mechanism that generates large fees for Democratic-leaning trial lawyers but hotly contested benefits for consumers.”
