ILR President Lisa A. Rickard was quoted by Reuters on the recent signage of a law that bans Delaware companies from adopting fee-shifting bylaws. The bylaws are a method of curbing meritless shareholder litigation by forcing investors who bring unsuccessful lawsuits to pay the company’s legal costs.
