October Most Ridiculous Lawsuit Poll – The Kardashian Edition

For better or worse, American television has been overrun with reality shows. Whether they involve surviving on a deserted island or living in a random house with total strangers, these shows always seem to draw big ratings.

But one prison inmate in Frackville, Pennsylvania is apparently not amused. The inmate, D.J. Goodson, is suing the sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian for $75,000 over the “extreme emotional distress” that he experienced from watching their reality shows. As TMZ.com reports:

For better or worse, American television has been overrun with reality shows. Whether they involve surviving on a deserted island or living in a random house with total strangers, these shows always seem to draw big ratings.

But one prison inmate in Frackville, Pennsylvania is apparently not amused. The inmate, D.J. Goodson, is suing the sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian for $75,000 over the “extreme emotional distress” that he experienced from watching their reality shows. As TMZ.com reports:

Goodson claims he’s permanently scarred from watching domestic abuse (a boxing match on the show featuring Kim), emotional abuse (rantings courtesy of Kourtney and “paramour Scott”) and racism (Khloe referring to a baby doll as “the black baby”).

This lawsuit is one of the candidates for this month’s Most Ridiculous Lawsuit Poll.  The four other nominees are:

  • Male lawyer sues nail salon for $200,000 for charging men $2 more than women
  • Lawyer sues flip flop maker for failure to warn of dangers of flip flops
  • Inmate who killed and dismembered victim sues over pulled tooth, claiming “cruel and unusual punishment”
  • Child-molesting teacher countersues boy’s parents over negligent supervision

Go to FacesOfLawsuitAbuse.org and cast your vote today. And while you’re at it, check out last month’s Most Ridiculous Lawsuit winner – the girl who sued the estate of the pregnant woman she killed during a suicide attempt.
