Lawsuit Complains Hawaiian Rolls Aren’t Made In Hawaii
A lawsuit is seeking damages because King’s Hawaiian rolls aren’t actually made in Hawaii according to a report in The Hill. The plaintiff claims that he was misled into buying the rolls, but notes that the back of the label indicates the product is made in California.
Attorney Spencer Sheehan’s lawsuit follows others alleging customers are misled about the origin of products, like tortillas featuring the Mexican flag and Mexican-style beer brewed in Europe.
The rolls are made in California, but were originally made in Hilo, Hawaii.
