What Went Wrong With the CFPB: In an op-ed, the CEO of the Community Financial Services Association of America accused the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau of “governmental overreach and politicization” under the tenure of Richard Cordray. He said the agency has become “a politically biased regulatory dictator and a political steppingstone for its sole director.” (Wall Street Journal)
