Lawyer Spat Threatens Lumber Liquidators Class Action Settlement: Lead attorneys who represent injured plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation against Lumber Liquidators allege class counsel for consumers who claimed economic losses, in the same MDL, cut the injured plaintiffs out of the settlement process. The personal injury lawyers have asked the judge to scrap the settlement, which includes $22 million cash and $14 million in store vouchers. (National Law Journal)

Litigation Funding Changes Legal Landscape for Boutique and Small Firms: The growth of the third party litigation funding industry has changed the types of firms bringing major lawsuits.
