Plaintiffs’ lawyers are planning a nationwide class action against General Motors Company next month, alleging the company’s recalls of vehicles for ignition-switch defects has caused a such a diminution in brand value that “every one of its customers has lost money.” (National Law Journal)

BP PLC on Tuesday filed a motion requesting a federal judge to remove Patrick Juneau as administrator of damage claims from its 2010 oil spill. The company claims to have obtained correspondences between Juneau’s law firm and the Gulf Coast Claims Facility that reveal bias against BP. (Nola.com)
