Chevron responds this morning to a recent letter to the editor by plaintiffs’ attorney Steven Donzinger, “a proven racketeer and the American lawyer behind the fraudulent lawsuit against Chevron Corporation in Ecuador.” Donziger’s initial letter touted the recent Canadian Supreme Court decision permitting a group of Ecuadorian villagers to try to enforce in Ontario a fraudulent $9.5 billion judgment issued by an Ecuadorian court against Chevron.
