New Jersey’s ranking in ILR’s 2015 Lawsuit Climate Survey is cited in a letter to the editor by Marcus Rayner, president, New Jersey Civil Justice Institute. Rayner calls for “common sense legal reform legislation that will send a signal that frivolous litigation is not welcome here.” (Asbury Park Press)

As the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) seeks to ban the use of arbitration to resolve consumer disputes here in the U.S., a new survey released by the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary College, University of London, shows widespread support for international arbitration as a preferred dispute resolution mechanism.
