The Time for Litigation Funding Transparency is Now: ILR Executive Vice President Harold Kim said the “time to act is now” on litigation funding transparency. The Committee on Civil Rules will review an ILR-led petition on the issue at its fall meeting, which opens today. (Institute for Legal Reform)

Wrestler Admitted Atty Solicitation In Podcast, WWE Says: World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said a former wrestler would not have sued the company had he not been solicited by a Chicago lawyer. In a podcast, the wrestler said “I didn’t go out and hire a lawyer to do this. This is something that was presented to me and is not costing me a dime. And if I can do that who wouldn’t do what I’m doing?” (Law360)
