Bipartisan Group of Congress Members Ask FCC for New TCPA Clarifications: A bipartisan group of House members sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission asking for a new clarification to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The letter asks the commission to exempt financial communications from credit unions to their members from the TCPA. (CU Insight)

California self-driving rule tweaks boost manufacturer liability: The California Department of Motor Vehicles has changed a draft regulation of how it will treat manufacturer liability in an accident involving self-driving cars. The department changed language that would have limited manufacturer liability if the car was not maintained to manufacturer specifications. (CNET)
