FCC Ditches Junk Fax Opt-Out Rule: The Federal Communications Commission formally rescinded an opt-out notice requirement for solicited faxes that the D.C. Circuit struck down last year. Despite resolving lingering questions under the rule, the act raises fresh questions about how the agency will proceed with rulemaking as the U.S. Supreme Court decides how much weight to give to these opinions, attorneys say.
