Louisiana ranked 50th in ILR’s 2017 Lawsuit Climate Survey, which ranked every state’s lawsuit climate.

Chauvin said reinforcing state Administrative Procedure Act compliance and restricting the state’s ability to hire outside counsel can help Louisiana improve.
