Kellogg has announced it will pay $5 million to settle a class action suit over its use of the labels “All Natural” or “Nothing Artificial” on some of the company’s Kashi products. The company said it will also no longer use those labels on those products. (ABC News)
The Senate Judiciary Committee once again filed to consider “patent troll” legislation this week. A mark-up session had been scheduled for May 8, but the committee adjourned without considering the bill. With only a few weeks remaining before members return to their districts for election season, the legislation may be stalled until a post-election lame duck session. (BNA – subscription required)
