The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will soon vote on proposals compelling telephone companies to offer “robocall-blocking tools,” and requiring consumers’ consent to receive automated calls as well an easy opt-out under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). (Reuters)
