ILR President Says “Only Winners Will Be Trial Lawyers” If Congress Takes Away Arbitration: U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform President Lisa A. Rickard said “the only winners will be trial lawyers looking to cash in on excessive litigation” if Congress restricts the use of arbitration in employment disputes. Rickard was citing a study, conducted by NDP Analytics and released yesterday by ILR, that showed that employees were more likely to win in arbitration than in litigation. (Corporate Counsel)
