Fighting For Common Sense Reform in Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania Coalition for Civil Justice Reform (PCCJR) President Curt Schroder, writes on the “great cause for concern” within Pennsylvania’s civil justice system. Noting that Pennsylvania ranked 37th in the nation on the 2015 Harris poll and that “on the court docket in Philadelphia, nearly half of the plaintiffs are out-of-state litigation tourists,” Schroder concludes that “the legal liability climates of most other states are more favorable to economic growth” than in Pennsylvania. Cheesecake Factory Is Latest Target of FL Man With a History of Filing Class Actions: Dr. David Muransky, from Broward County, FL, is filing a class action lawsuit against Cheesecake Factory for allegedly putting customers’ private information at risk. Muransky is also in the process of settling a separate class action lawsuit that would pay him $10,000. Additionally, during Muransky’s tenure as president, Aventura Chiropractic Care Center filed four class actions over faxes it received. (Forbes/Legal Newsline)
