Diane Feinstein to support commonsense reforms to stop Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) lawsuit abuse. The business owner said he was “forced into a settlement” after a trial lawyer who “just wanted cash” filed an ADA lawsuit over small, technical violations of the law. (Fresno Bee)

Attorney Says Bristol-Myers Squibb Decision Could be Used to Oppose Class Certification: An attorney from Reed Smith said the U.S. Supreme Court’s Bristol-Myers Squibb decision that strengthened jurisdiction rules in class actions could play a factor in class certification decisions.
