The Wisconsin state Senate is scheduled to vote on a bill that would require plaintiffs to disclose additional information regarding their asbestos litigation. The state Assembly passed the bill last year. Associated Press

A Louisiana judge ruled that the state attorney general can hire private lawyers using contingency fee contracts, but any fees would have to be awarded separately from damages paid to the state. New Orleans Times-Picayune
