House Passes Bill Overhauling Dodd-Frank: The U.S. House of Representatives voted 233-186 to approve the Financial CHOICE Act, which would serve as the replacement for Dodd-Frank and eliminate other financial regulations put in place under the former administration. The CHOICE Act would “transform” the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by restructuring the organization to be a law enforcement agency akin to the Federal Trade Commission. (Law360)
