Cost of D&O Insurance In Australia Is Up 122%. Is Securities Litigation To Blame?: The median cost of D&O insurance premiums in Australia rose 122 percent in the second half of last year. An Australian D&O practice leader for a major risk management firm said there has been a “substantial increase in the number of litigation funders operating in Australia” that may have boosted the country’s securities litigation environment which “could exceed $1 billion.” (Insurance Business Australia)
