Australian Business Leaders Call for Class Action Review: Two major Australian business leaders called on the country’s government to review the Australian class action system since the movement towards plaintiffs’ lawyer contingency fee has gained momentum. Graham Bradley of EnergyAustralia, Graincorp, and HSBC Bank said a new system should include “some constraint on the fees which class action lawyers and advisers can siphon off.” (Australian Financial Review)
