“Chevron’s Longtime Nemesis Hits the End of the Road”: A Bloomberg Opinion columnist documents lawyer Steven Donziger’s “25-year crusade” in court against Chevron, which has ultimately led to a suspension of his law license this week. Donziger won an $18 billion judgment against Chevron in Ecuadorian court in 2011, though the judgment was later ruled to be “procured by fraud.” Attempts to enforce that judgment have failed in multiple countries.
