U.S. Supreme Court to Hear Case on M&A Lawsuit Standards: The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear a challenge to a Ninth Circuit decision that allowed a lower standard in merger and acquisition securities lawsuits. The Ninth Circuit said investors must only show the company was negligent, rather than intentionally misleading, when a lawsuit accusing it of misleading investors is filed. (Law360)
