Business Groups Ask For Clarity on New California Data Privacy Law: At a hearing hosted by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, business groups asked for clarity on California’s new data privacy law which will take effect next year. One representative said “[o]verly broad definitions might result in inconsistent application of the law and defeat its purpose.” (Bloomberg BNA)
