A hearing over Nevada legislation to “curb frivolous construction defect lawsuits” drew large crowds this week and included “a spirited back-and-forth between lawmakers.” Several people testified in favor of the reform bill, but Terry Riedy of the state’s plaintiffs’ attorney’s association “was the lone opponent” to speak against it.
