The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to review BP’s challenge of the $9.2 billion Gulf oil spill settlement. BP’s petition had claimed “that a district court incorrectly found that the deal doesn’t require certain businesses to establish a causal nexus between their alleged injuries and the 2010 disaster”.
