Because Tecate Is Brewed In Holland, Heineken Faces A Proposed Class Action: A class action lawsuit says Heineken has misled consumers into thinking it brews its Tecate brand in Mexico. The lawsuit argues that the use of the “Thunder bird” and photos on its website are misleading consumers, but the lawsuit admits that it is disclosed in “small font” on the back of Tecate boxes that it is brewed in Holland.
