Legislators in Missouri Move to Heighten Standard on Expert Witness Testimony: A bill was pre-filed in the Missouri House of Representatives that would give judges more power to make an assessment of an expert’s scientific testimony and decide whether a jury should hear from the witness  – effectively introducing the Daubert standard into Missouri courts. House Speaker Todd Richardson said he will support the legislation because he believes “the trend developing in Missouri is disturbing.” (American Pharmacy News)
