Philadelphia Judge Will Revisit Out-Of-State Cases in Mesh Mass Tort: Yesterday, Philadelphia court of Common Pleas Judge Arnold New said he would weigh whether two recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions limiting the ability of trial courts to retain jurisdiction over claims from out-of-state plaintiffs affect nearly 100 cases in Philadelphia’s pelvic mesh mass tort program. Judge New ordered the parties to file supplemental briefing on the question of jurisdiction and said he would set a date for oral argument. (Law360)
