Lawsuit Lender Faces Lawsuit After Charging “Over 100 Percent” Annual Interest Rate: Attorney Tammy Tran, a client of lawsuit lender Spark Funding, is suing the company for declaratory relief and damages, alleging the lender charged her interest under without fully disclosing the amount of that interest. Attorneys like Tammy Tran as well as plaintiffs in litigation sometimes seek out lawsuit lenders to sustain their expenses in the course of a lawsuit. These lenders often charge sky-high interest rates for their services, and Tran alleges that in this case, Spark Funding was charging her “hidden exorbitant interest at over 100 percent per year.” (Southeast Texas Record)
