Former Lawyer Charged With Stealing IDs to Apply For Lawsuit Loans: A former Georgia lawyer was charged with seven counts of wire fraud and eight counts of aggravated identity theft for stealing the identities of 36 former clients and applying for lawsuit loan advances in their names. According to the article, the lawyer applied for 50 loans totaling $383,000 between October 2014 and April 2016. (ABA Journal)
