Lawsuit Lenders Demand $2.1 Million as Repayment for $21,300 in Loans: Two lawsuit lending firms are seeking a combined $2.1 million from the estate of a Brooklyn woman who took out $21,300 in loans in 2006 and 2007. The woman, who passed in January, never received any money from the lawsuit’s settlement because the lenders put liens on it in an effort to recover. (NY Post)
