Cato Institute Fellow: Proposition 65 Benefits Private Activists, Lawyers: A senior fellow at the Cato Institute said California’s Proposition 65 law was devised rom “private activists and lawyers — some of the same ones, it would seem” that “litigated suits that they could benefit from.” The law has garnered extra attention recently after a California judge said coffee must now be served with warning labels.
