Legal Uncertainty Is Hindering Production Of Critical Medical Supplies: As the number of documented cases of COVID-19 grows, federal, state and local public health officials, and medical professionals are in desperate need of critical supplies – particularly personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators. Right now, legal uncertainties are inhibiting the ability of American producers to manufacture this essential equipment for health care workers on the front lines. Governors can act and they should do it now, according to a report in The New York Law Journal.
