Girardi Claims Pile Up: Creditors filed $46 million in additional claims against the Girardi Keese law firm before the close of a Wednesday court deadline. The new claims bring to $129 million the total allegedly owed by the bankrupt law firm founded by disgraced plaintiffs’ attorney Thomas V. Girardi. One of the claim filings openly referred to the law firm as a “Ponzi scheme vehicle.” (Law 360)
