Florida House Goes 1-for-2 on Much-Needed Legal Reform

WSJ Op-ed Challenges N.Y. Mayor on Environmental Lawsuits: Holman W. Jenkins, Jr. challenged New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on the city’s lawsuit against major oil companies. Expert Ups Suggested Fee Cap In NFL Concussion Deal: A court-appointed expert said the cap on attorneys’ fees in the NFL concussion settlement can be raised to 22 percent. The settlement has be marred by a number of scandals involving uncapped attorneys’ fees and high interest rates on settlement loans. (Law360)
