Federal Judicial Panel to Consider Litigation Financing: The chairman of the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Rules of Civil Procedure suggested creating a panel to review proposed amendments to multidistrict litigation procedures, including an ILR-led proposal to require third party litigation funding transparency. ILR’s Page Faulk said this is an “important step” in addressing the practice’s issues. (National Law Journal)
