Banks To Pay $2 Billion Forex Settlement

Following $10 billion in bank fines after a long-running investigation by the Justice Department, four banks have agreed to settlements totaling almost $2 billion in a civil suit over foreign currency market allegations.

The banks — HSBC Holdings PLC, Barclays PLC, BNB Paribas SA and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. — did not admit to any wrongdoing in their agreements.
