Australian Litigation Funder Announces New $500 Million U.S. Fund

The U.S. branch of Australian litigation funder IMF Bentham announced a new U.S.-focused fund that is expected to hit $500 million by the end of the year and potentially grow as high as $1 billion, Law360 reports.

This is the company’s fourth overall fund and second in the United States. According to the article, the parent company in Australia will “be responsible for orchestrating all investment opportunities for the new fund and has the ability to reinvest any returns on investment.”
