AG Reyes Says GC’s Should Engage with Prosecutors at Event Co-Hosted by ILR

During an event co-hosted by ILR and the U.S. Chamber Technology Engagement Center, Emerging Technologies and Torts of the Future, Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes provided “practical tips” for company lawyers on how to work with state prosecutors, writes the National Law Journal

Among other points, Reyes recommended that GC’s work to understand the perspective of the AG’s office and invite them to tour facilities and discuss emerging issues. He also said that “self-regulation and industries that have self-regulatory mechanisms are a very healthy thing” to ensure compliance.
